Edmund Odum Jr.’s experience has been gained through a family practice spanning three generations. Son of the late former Birmingham City Attorney J. Edmund Odum, Attorney Odum’s Grandfather and Great Uncle served on the Alabama Supreme Court for many years, and many of their decisions are published in The Southern Reporters.

This experience has also lead to Mr. Odum’s appointment to several positions as Judge in the Birmingham Court System. He has served as the Special Circuit Judge in the Family Court of Jefferson County, the Special District Judge in Felony Court, the Special District Judge in Traffic Court, and the Special District Judge in Drug Court. He also serves as a part time Municipal Judge for the City of Tarrant, and as the Daily Master in the Domestic Relations Division of Jefferson County Court.
